Kidd*ing!

Okeh,not kidding!

P/s: Happy 9th Anniversary to you Big Boss! Love!

Day 2 : Last-Minutes Vacation

So,it's day 2 of our adventure trip!

We got our Universal Studio Singapore @ USS tickets, shuttle bus provided and $5 coupons for retail and food for RM195 per person from travel agent in JB. We choose this way as it was school holidays and we didn't want to get stuck buying tickets all day. So,no worries when traveling.

There are another ways to go into Singapore, either by using local bus and MRTs, planes or own car.Planes is out of the list, car will incur the cost as we will be charge $50 per entry to Singapore, and not to forget the hassle thru the jams and MRTs is tiring as we would have to hop in and out to reach Sentosa Island.

We have to prepare our info for security purposes.
We ate light breakfast,as in bread since we already bought it the day before and packed them up for our journey into USS. The travel agent advice us to hide away our food and drinks as they don't allowed you to bring in outside food/drinks.So,we hide them away in our big bags.Big bags come to the rescueee!!

The USS tickets and shuttle tickets are ready!!!
The shuttle bus took 2nd link into Singapore, which I found less people are using this way coz it's quite far from the main city of Singapore but it's nearer to the Sentosa Island. It's also for big lorries that transport imported/exported goods that can congest the main link.

Yeaahh,we arrived!!!

Me,as the map-girl without being elected.Perasan sendiri je.

So,there are about 6-7 sections in USS itself. So,we planned to visit each sections first and shop for souvenir later.

  1.  Lights,Camera Action - It actually in a small building compared to other sections. You can actually watch,LIVE on the REAL scenes, created by Steven Spielberg. I'm not good at explaining this actually.Hihi!
  2. Accelerator (Sci-Fi City) - It more or less the same with spinning cups in Sunway Lagoons or any other theme park. Just that, this is much more slowerrrr which I don't think you can get dizzy with it.
  3. Battlestar Galactica (Sci-Fi City) - This could be the best ride ever in USS!!!!! UNFORTUNATELY, it were closed during our visit. I think it never open (yet),so LUCKY for those will be coming here next year. It might be open that time.
  4.  Revenge of the Mummy (Ancient Egypt) - IT WAS SO SCARRYY WEHHH!! It's actually a roller coaster ride but there's a twist, IN THE DARK! And all the fire in there, were actually burning us!
  5. We skipped another ride in Ancient Egypt which is Treasure Hunts as the waiting time is seriously not worth to wait for a car-ride. Same goes with every rides in Jurassic Parks.Plain boring!
  6. Enchanted Airways (Far Far Away) - Short ride meant for kids but what the heck,I paid $60 for the ticket. Kinda scary,HAHA,coz you'll be facing the lake and thought that you'll be thrown in there.Silly kan?
  7. King Julien’s Party-Go-Round: (Madagascar) - a.k.a merry go round! Once again, what the heck, I paid for it!
There is other ride that we decided not to take part with such as Magic Potion Spin because my weight are too 'light' for it!HUHUH!

Other than rides,USS also have musical shows/theater/shows kind-of. I don't really remember what
shows but you have to observe their shows timing and plan it before proceeds with other sections.Other than that, just enjoy the pictures, coz basically I'm too lazy to type on.

I think I'm gonna stop here coz as I said earlier,I'm too lazy to continue. See ya'!

    Day 1 : Last-Minutes Vacation

I'm supposed to be sleeping right at this moment but somehow I'm updating my blog. There's good and bad to it as I'm going for a short trip tomorrow with Big Boss.

Thinking that I'll be starting my official works on Monday the 13th with quite abnormal working hours,I shall update "Last-minutes-Vacation" story.

Referring to this post, I did mentioned about going somewhere for "Vacation of the Year".However, with several changes in plans and Alhamdulillah our trip went well.I guess I forgot to mention that me,qila and Big Boss went for an adventure trip last 2 weeks!FYI,it's Universal Studio Singapore @ USS!!!!!

Big Boss decided to bought a flight ticket back home few days before I told him that me and qila were planning for USS together, just the two of us. So,he stepped in and volunteered to accompanied us as we're gonna be 2 girls/women in "strange city,4 hours away from home". I thought that he purchased the flight ticket specially for this trip but silly me,he tried to "almost" surprised me. Talking about him being romantic, huh?

We left home around 7.45 in the morning, stopped for breakfast in Dengkil, and continued our express-journey  to Johor Bahru.Thank you for Google Map on Big Boss's phone and we managed to arrived destinations just in time for lunch!

Busy on the phone, asking where's the best place to eat!

Our 1st stop were at Plaza Pelangi,Johor Bahru as for Big Boss said "Dah lama tak gi mall nie". Called his cousin on where to eat coz we saw boring-mall restaurants. So,his cousin suggested for 'Nasi Ayam Penyet Zona' just opposite the mall. Hesitated at first, but we went there anyway coz we're super duper hungry.

Sorry Big Boss,I know you don't like to be exposed.

Nasi Ayam Penyet Zona!! They even have Keli or Sotong,as options

Tell you what, Kenyang to the MAX!Hehe! The soup, chicken and the sambal were something different from average Nasi Ayam Penyet that I ate back in KL! Missed them already *telan air liur*

Went for a quick run to Cold Storage for our food stocks in hotel rooms and for USS.Never thought Big Boss going to spend that much and he actually did conquered 2/3 of our long receipt. Hmm,I wonder if our 8 years of r/ship doesn't enough for me to understand him..Should have investigate more!!

Then,we made another stop to City Square Johor Bahru,as per Big Boss's said "Mall nie best skit". Walked around, and somehow purchased few clothes because it's only RM20 per shirt!I already intended to go there as mama already told me that she wants something from JB.So,I bought her and myself one shirt each! IF we're not going for USS the next day,we wouldn't mind buying extra things in the mall coz all the ruffle blouse that I was eye-ing for were only RM39 or maybe RM49!!

Ooh,we did silly things when we walked into Mac/Epic/Apple store there.Talking about silly things,my partner of crime would be Qila,of course.Big Boss is just our Chaperone,HAHA!

We checked-in our hotel around 3pm and of course, the 1st thing we did was snapping pictures! Once again,we here means it's only me and Qila. We stayed at Tune Hotel,Danga Bay as it would be easy for us to deal with food and shuttle bus to USS.

You can request for changing bed linens by placing this green card on your bed.

We took twin room with 12-hour credit for air-cond.We let ourselves bored to death for about less than 30minutes to decide that we need to have TV in the room. So,we paid for 24-hour credit for TV,this TV somehow operates differently from the air-cond coz,for air-cond,they will only deduct our credit once we switch it on and we can somehow plan on our usage for the rest of our stays. BUT this TV works differently,no matter if you use it or not, they will be auto-off after 24-hour from the time you purchase the credit.

See the difference!!!!Imagine we have to stay there with black screen! (Big Boss watched black screen all the time coz he already have his phone)
We only realized it after we went back from USS the next day.The ads looks the same,so we lodged a complaint when we checked-out from the room.

Slept for few hours and woke up just in time for dinner.Hehe, being us,super power people who love to eat!
We ate at Singgah Selalu Restaurant, opposite our hotel but we still drove there becoz it's raining and it's super dangerous to cross coz it's a busy road.

    Starters : Otak-otak and kacang rebus.We just ate otak-otak.Yummeh!

We should have thought this before. Big Boss ordered all of these,I just care about having kangkung~
Even though the RM30-budget didn't work as it planned,Alhamdulillah the money well spent. We walked along Danga Bay,sight seeing just to digest our food consumed.

    Our 3rd trip together!

    Our 1st official trip together!

Slurpee for dessert i guess ;)

    Ooh,we just love the camera!
So,I guess I shall stop here for Day of 1 of our Adventure Trip. See you next time, insyaAllah :)

    Vacation

I only have few weeks (9 days to be precise) before I starts my working mode, officially. But I haven't fully enjoy my breaks after finishing training, thesis and misc. actions.

I actually 'complained' to Big Boss how boring is my holidays and he's not here to actually spend time with me. Coz he's planning to come back home whether in late December or February.
Either way, I can't guarantee myself to actually have time for him coz I'll be starting my work in December.

Then, he came up with one idea, which I already thought like months before. Vacation!

It's supposed to be "Out of City" version 2.0 but half of the member (4 originals member,2 can't make it due to tight and sudden planning) can't make it and somehow we have new member joining for this trip. :p

Not to worry, insyaAllah I'll buy you two girls something there! *kira-kira duit, cukup tak??hihi*

    Can't wait!

    Potential Disastrous

I don't think I was born to cook well and it is very disturbing for me when it comes to cooking,by myself with my own judgment. However, to create this more interesting, I have to cook for my siblings when Mama was admitted for Gallbladder operation.I could easily drive to the nearby warung and buy any dishes, but of course, being me, stingy!

Begin with Day 1 of Potential Disastrous

I even transferred my laptop to kitchen b'coz Google is important when you really have to search for image of onion or others.

I cooked Tenggiri (Mackerel) Masak Kicap with Bayam (Spinach) Goreng. Believe me, I had to search online for the mackerel dish.

For tea, I made jemput-jemput , simple one which no Google needed in this matter.

    Later that night, I
brought her (Mama) egg sandwich which ended being eaten (most) by me the next day.

    Day 2 of Potential Disastrous

I think i made simple dish like Spinach soup with few fried Kembong fish and fried egg. I don't think pictures are important to prove it that I cooked above dishes. :)

    Day 3 of Potential Disastrous

What a day!! I cooked Honey Chicken Rice (Nasi Ayam Madu) . Seriously, this dish is killing me,literally. The rice, soup, chicken, salad, tomatoes, cucumber. There's too many things to be considered in making a good presentation.
Nevertheless, Mama got the chance tasting my dish for that day and she praised me saying the soup were nice (which I don't think so btw)
Even though Mama stayed for 4 days, I finally find myself exhausted with all the thinking on what dish to cook and cooking it self doesn't fascinates me,maybe a little.

I was busy cooking while he is just tired, eating.

    "Awie"

Just a random picture taken few weeks ago: A female cat named "Awie" ( I guess maybe her owner loves 'Awie the singer' soo much) weight about 13 kilos. Being pamper in an air-conditioning room with her own "kerusi malas".

I don't think she can even walk, maybe just a little move few inches away.
She can't even smile. Or maybe she dislike me?? Hhmm...

    Is she happy or what?

    Affordable Food

I'm not really into western food but somehow we just need to get a way from staple food. My parents told me that I'm a KFC Freak since I was small (and had part time job there after SPM did proved it that I'm that freak!), I still fancy malay food the most.

So, KFC can be boring and my family opt for steak. Having a plate of steak with affordable price (of coz, yummeh!) for 6 heads can some times make you think twice.Ok,maybe your dad will think twice!! (coz as the daughter/son,we will just enjoy whatever moments with food).

    People, meet Ms. Steak,Garlic Steak.

    Garlic, meet people :)

    Not-so-dry-dish from Ms.Chili's

    Another-dry-dish from Mr.Roma's

I prefer gravy with my steak, and that's why I can't be the best-est friend with Mr.Roma's and Ms.Chilis. Sorry :(

What's best is that Ms.Garlic over here doesn't break your cute lil purse or macho wallet. Maybe a lil' torn if you only have RM 50 for the rest of the week.

    She is available at
RM12.00! Not RM 30,not RM 45.90, just twelve ringgit! I just love affordable food! Don't you? Ooh, Ms.Garlic here have siblings, Black Pepper*,Mushroom*,Brown.Of course, relatives, Chicken,Fish and Imported meat. Not to forget friends, Pasta!!!!

    All of them live at
Bangsar Food Court, in Station 21. Nearest trademark : Bangsar Village 2 . Her house is open from noon till midnight (depends on the stocks) and they have weekly leave every Sunday (with 95% confidence interval).

p/s: * means popular sauce (from my observation,of course!)

    Up for it?

I don't know where to start, coz I have a lot in mind. Anyhow, I'm going to submit my hard cover thesis this monday!!!!!!! Wohoo.... No more panic attacks and constant headache!

Went for a job interview yesterday. Kinda love the office (hehe, adore the decor) BUT it's way too far in KL,along Saloma Bistro it is. From my calculation, 30minutes EXCLUDE traffic jams.

If it's happen to be my job in future, I really need to consider the fuel, tolls and how much time consumed for me to arrive there within times. Not to mention traffic jams!

I've search around for public transportation, bus stops are easy to spot but it wont help me when peak hours. Lrt could be another option, the nearest station would be Bukit Nenas Monorail Station or KLCC Station for Putra Lrt. That would be hopping from one lrt to another coz I'll be using Star Lrt (nearest to home). Lets calculate the fares right now.

The perks are stopping by Pavillion or Sungei Wang Plaza on my back from work, just to have random window shopping moment. But it may not happen when I'll be too tired to do that. *sigh*

During my practical training, I was fortunate to drive back and forth since it just 15-30minutes away (considering peak hours) with RM1.50 parking fare everyday. Less money spent on fuel, more room for food and entertainment.

What if I travel back & forth everyday, minus the train fares and food, what's left for me at the end of month? Freshie's salary offered couldn't be that much to support those expenses (unless you're living right next to the building or your PaMa support you all the way)

Considering all these, I did apply few more applications on Jobstreet, just to have back-ups and options, you see.

So,does location affect your decision on job application or it just me?

    Effort and Tawakkal

I almost give up on whatever I was doing for the past 2 weeks. It's thesis that bothering me,like super duper crazy.

Have you ever feel fast heart beat (No, it's not the same when your crush said Hi!) and suffocates with surrounding. And worse, tears/crying badly when you wake up from sleep? <--This is what I call Panic Attack!

I doesn't want to grow up being a researcher and I don't think tertiary education should force us being one,(at least for me). At least, put it as optional so that the country still can have researcher in future times. Don't scare us,(at least me) in upgrading myself here.

VIVA (Presentation on findings) went not-that-well-but-it's-not-that-bad since I was the last to present and some how both of the lecturers predicted that we're not gonna be that excellent,I guess. Presented for 10minutes,or so and my research,I don't think I want to present it to the industry.Confidence, you see.

And logging into Facebook nowadays just irritates me,A LOT! People updating their status on how well their VIVA went, they're finishing their thesis and they have 63pages of thesis and counting??!!! My thesis doesn't even touch 40 pages INCLUDING References & Appendix!
I need some thing else than Thesis, so i opted to update my status more on food or maybe Jeff.

Right now,I need to insert few IV <--read Independent Variables to it,run few data and walla,I'm done! InsyaAllah!

    Progress

My thesis presentation will be on this FRIDAY (not,FLYDAY!Will be Flyday after 2pm presentation!) and my progress right now can be consider as at 60%! hahaha.. More to edit stuff! And adding stuff!

Should spend more time on analyzing the data not my blog!

    Tata!

    Re-cap

    Salam and Hellooo…

Oh my.. seeing my blog after a while, made me feel weird. Oh no, maybe typing words is much weirder.

Just to re-cap what I’ve been doing all these while:

    1. Raya was not-so-fun because I think I got the least amount of money compared to the previous years. And it was the 1st time I gave duit raya for my cousin .Both sides of my family. Including parents and grandparents. Aunties and uncles can wait okeh. The same conclusion I made for the past few years, PLEASE SPARE SOME TIME SEARCHING FOR KAIN ELA AND SEND IT TO THE TAILOR! I really hates smashing myself into Jalan TAR and had to pick my raya clothes.

    2. Practical training is over. Seriously SAD cause I gained super duper experience, both academicals and non-academic stuffs. Such as having great group of co-workers that gave me a cardigan and ruffle top. BOTH IN PURPLE! My fave! As a return, I gave each of them Asma-Ul-Husna’ book for Muslims and cute anything-they-wanna-do-with-it-vase-thing for non-muslims.

    3. Oh, I seriously understand how t would feel to experience PANIC ATTACK! As in breathing difficulties and fast heart beat and suddenly-crying-when-you-wakes-up! Thanx to Mr. or Ms. THESIS over here, getting the data at the very last minutes. And SPSS is not that hard to learn. *For now, I didn’t test it yet, just seeing people on how to insert data*

    4. Have SOO MANY PLANS AFTER SUBMITTING THESIS! Like swimming at UITM’s swimming pool. Tak pernah dow rasa swimming kat situ* Jakun nak try nie*. Not to forget waiting for BIG BOSS TO COME BACK HOME AND …Oh,I just don’t know what to do when he comes back home. Maybe you should stay there. Ok, maybe not!

    5. Can’t wait for back massages 2morrowwww!! Dying to have one since I started my practical training. You know with all those typing and bongkok-sessions!

    6. Oh ya, no movie in the cinema since PUASA and that were 2 months ago and also, 2morrow will be having one session with Tangeechi + friends.

Since this list is about what I’ve been doing all these while, I think No.4 is kinda-sesat into the list. And No.5 and half-of-No.6. Hihi

That’s all for now. *insyaAllah* coming back here after I submit my thesis? Perhaps. TQ!

    Sudden News.

    Ya Allah.

*Tetiba dah syiok berbahasa ibunda, tersambung ke entry berikutnya*

Yesterday, melawat /ziarah my officemate, I panggil dier Kak Ira. Putih2,tak kecik tak besar.
Dia koma.since Selasa pagi-pagi.Doctor suspect Meningitis. Tapi dier tak sedarkan diri and doctor tak leh nak amik sampel air tulang belakang dier to diagnose and confirm it.

Bile 1st time masuk ICU,pastue masuk lak another one separate room, with gloves, mask and some baju biru tue..rasa macam nak nangis. Sebab tak terdaya Kak Ira kat atas katil tue.Mengenangkan baru je sehari sebelum kejadian,I,dier and Abg Mamat makan lunch KFC sesama.Dier drives.Muka dier lemah, macam ada airmata kat mata dier, mulut dier kering and dier diberi mesin bantuan pernafasan. Ya Allah, Engkau kurangkan penderitaan rakanku itu.

And how dier coma tu masih samar-samar,tapi me and my workmates(few) among the 1st trip to visit her..dapat lar masuk her room before nurse larang others to masuk sbb takut berjangkit.

She has 5 children, eldest umur around 12-13 and youngest is around 1-2years old, which still breast feed. So,baby kena admitted sbb ada symptom fever.

Bile diingatkan,Kak Faz (another workmate) perasan that Kak Ira always tenung mengantuk like always.Which symptoms menjurus ke Meningitis.

Entahlar,I dapat merasakan ia mungkin kerna stress or depression sbb she just lost her dad few weeks/months ago and sudden death of her cousin's husband also few weeks ago.Maybe stress at work jugak..

Tapi seriously memang mengejutkan I,my office and of course her family members. InsyaAllah she'll be fine and pray for her health!Amin! Please pray along.TQ.

*UPDATES : As at yesterday (16th of Spept 2010), Kak Ira's heart beat stopped twice. Doctor said her chances of living is small if her heartbeat stop for the 3rd time.*

*UPDATES : As at TODAY ( 20th of SEPTEMBER 2010),Kak Ira passed away after Zuhur at Ampang Hospital*

    Team Blue

Still remember Jeff Aiman? I think I haven't blog bout him since he being admitted into hospital.

    Sports Day.

Gotta be there to support him, (coz I didn't get the chance to support Nabil for his kiddie's sports day) and being forced by lovely mama to take her place as volunteers. Apa barang jaga kanak2 aktif semua tue?!Suddenly regret myself 4 joining that day.

.I don't remember when this event was but I assumed it was around last month?maybe. :)

When the event starts early in the morning, this is what you expect from students Ungu PETANG.

I even show you where's Aiman (in case you're wondering where he is in that pic)
Hampeh bila ajar bebudak marching. End up marching sesuka hati!!

YEaahh..there he is!Hiding behind the pom pom!

Cam-whore with Boyfriends.ONLY.This is the only pic of him with his friends.Yg lain candid dier duduk diam2 tak nak ckp with gurls.

Good Job!Won 2nd Place eventho' aku penat jerit suruh team members dier terkedek2 jalan.Instead of running!!!!

Of course with lovely sister / volunteers of the day. Notice the white tag?Ehem! Ingore the oily face.I'm living in Malaysia.

So,I got yellow umbrella (Takpe.Free mah!) with his kindergarten logo on it as token of appreciation melayan students yg tak reti duduk diam2,both mouth and other body parts!!
