It's almost a 2 week since my Adventura Weekend! Already got the pictures and more pictures,so the only thing to do right now is 'kecoh' to you guys what an AMAZING weekend I had.
I went for WHITE WATER RAFTING at MyGopeng Resort.Of course, it is located in Gopeng,Perak which took us around 30 minutes to get there from Gopeng Toll and 2 1/2 hours from KL. I went in a group of 7 (supposed to be 8 cause someone had an emergency on that particular date).
My friend, Nina got us a special deal during JobStreet's Exhibition in PWTC where RM170 with food,2 days and 1 night stay, plus White Water Rafting activity. It also comes with complimentary activity,either Night Walk OR "Mandi Sungai" session. Since one of our friend failed to join, the resort offset her part for additional activities which is archery. Ooh,we also got both of the complimentary activities.
Upon arrival,we took our lunch buffet and of course aku tambah 2 kali! Not just me,Nina too. Maybe because she's tired of driving but me,hmm..let me think.. tired of sleeping and waiting.hihi!
After stuffing session,we proceed to briefing session by the owner of MyGopeng Resort. He told us all sort of things about our activities ahead.
We also have to sign a paper that can be consider our will(if anything happens during the trip).Yada yada,just sign it!
Oh,we got our key straight after the briefing and we're staying in a dorm-type of house which got the basic things like mattress,pillow,and fan. They do provide air-conditioning but they charge RM10 per head for using it.So,save the environment save the nature okeh!
The not-so-i-like part was the toilets are out of the house.Ngeri lar nak jalan keluar malam2 tue. But the water were damn cold and the color may change due to it's natural condition.hihi!
Around 4pm,we gathered back at the cafetaria and had our tea-time.Boleh gemuk mcm nie,makan on time!Sumbat je selagi boleh.We thought that we're supposed to go for "mandi sungai session at 4.30pm but maybe few people there(other than us) suka-suka set their own sweet time,we had to wait in the end. Apalagi,ronda-ronda taman lar!
That was the 1st time kot main pool ke snooker ke pool? I just don't know.And we sumbat ourselves durian while waiting for others.Makan makan makan! FYI,this eco-based resort has around puluh-puluh of durian trees.And we just have to wait for it to fall down(gugur) so that we can eat it for FREE! It was so damn delicious!!!
Basically we have to wait for them to have their tea time and we're ready to go!
The journey to the river (Kampar River) took us around 5-10 minutes maybe. But it took less than 5 minutes when we got back.Hmm,weird! Anyway,the journey at the back of medium-sized lorry were awesome!Jakun je..
I never like waterfall/river based to swim cause the green alga made me gelii!However,this time,it was fun!We played river slides and hit few rocks,with our booty,of course.Thanx booty for saving the pains!
We had steamboat for our dinner.The amount of food served were insane! Surprisingly,I can't even finish it up..Maybe I was too tired to sumbat anymore..
Had our few minutes rest and we're ready for our night hikes! I was quite scared at first since the guide told us to watch out for Red-Eye.Snakes of course!Alhamdullilah the walk went well with no-pacat-record!Yippie!
Had super late night shower to end our first day!
