Night Before : Solemnization Day @ Akad Nikah

Assalamualaikum & Hello,

Normally as custom in our family, we would have Henna Ceremony a night before the solemnization day. Since mine would be the extra special case where only solemnization would be done in Selangor and the reception would be in Muar,Johor - in 2 different weeks of course!

Due to limited space, we decided to have the solemnization in nearby mosque.Hence, no mini dais at all. But mama being a mom,really wants to have a lil bit of deco here and there in the house.She also threw me a small party.

We served Mee Bandung and few other malay dishes. Mama also insisted of having mini photo booth for cousins and yeah, she did all the hard work!

Invited extended families and of course the normal close ones! But not all able to attend which understandable as this was a very last minutes invitation.

 While people were busy with foods, camwhoring and stuff, I'd be running around the house for I don't know what I wanna do..well,most of the time I'd be nearby Zet. There's time where I dragged her to my room to assist me with un-iron shawl,bridal attire,mask and nose-strip pack!

Thank God that I managed to get my henna done a night before that night!! If not,everything would be another chaos all together! Oh, I didn't get the full cap since I wanna have the Mecca henna that my aunt brought back. So,yeah, that's the last thing I did before I called it for the day!

Bridal Shower - Part II

Salam & Hi,

I got 2 separate bridal showers and this time came from all my girls in Collateral Team! Well, add on Wani, she's in diff team but nevermine!

They arranged a steamboat dinner and kara-OK session in Sunway Pyramid. Haven't got the chance to snap steamboat session, well, I can never be any hungry than that time!

Being told to wear blue and I've decided to put on blue tunic that I bought from Poplook but never had the guts to wear. I ate like super a lotttt during that night and every one were shocked to see me that way..

Had so much fun and went back home almost to 3AM! Feels like when I was working at HDPM which 3am   to be normal time to go back home.

Instead of "Bachelorette Sash", they gave me to wear through out the Kara-OK session.

Mentang-mentang my wedding date was prior to General Election Day, electric blue semua!

Highlight of the night!

They gave me a gift and I knew it's gonna be a naughty stuff. Indeed it was, a sexy lingerie!!! Macam - macam tahu tahu je I don't have it yet! Hahahaha!

Bridal Shower - Part I

I'm back after few attempts to blog and massive hours of sleeping!

Prior to my wedding date, my lovely girls organized a simple and cute bridal shower for me! It was actually a meet-up to pass on my wedding cards to them and they secretly planned the bridal shower in Serai, Paradigm Mall.

They asked to meet-up at Sephora and while I was walking up the elevator, I saw them were hiding by the Uniqlo's entrance. So,there goes the failed attempt to surprise me..hehehe! There and then, I've to walked around with "Bachelorette" sash. Quite funny tho' but i loved the attention given!

We actually walked into Spehora just to have free lipstick test but Qila did bought something. I tried the shocking pink colour lipstick but forgot to camwhore myself.

The crown came later, i think after we finished our dinner. Someone forgot about it i guess. Nevertheless, I loves it!

First try on pavlova,likes it so much! Can we have more meet-up involving Pavlova?

They also planned for game and I totally suck in it! Big time!

Gifts from my girls! Wishes and sweet stuffs like macaroon, sugar cookies and missing out choc popcorn..Fadi said it's custom to give out sweet things for bride-to-be.Thanks u'olls!

Little Introduction

Assalamualaikum & Hello,

Wedding Anniversary ticker is up, so does the friendship's ticker! (Does it relevant to put engagement ticker up too?Tak perlu lar kan..dah kahwin pon kan.)

Haven't receive any raw or edited pictures for 2 of my wedding ceremonies, so this entry could be the 'appetizer' ;p (Baca Bismillah dulu nak mengadap entry panjang ni)

Wedding dates are all pre-set by me and agreed by Big Boss way before engagement took place. Thinking of good Hijri date and not on school holidays, hence 11.05.2013 would be my choice of date for solemnization and the rest will follow..konon nanti tak bertindih tarikh kahwin dengan member,sekali SAMA satu set dengan tarikh Sha!

With slight of change in venue setting, the dates has to be brought forward or whatnot to accommodate the 3-weeks of wedding ceremonies.Nak tak nak I ikutkan jua..

On another note, being the first grandchildren to ever get married was(is) such a BIG thing (at least for our family) !!

First, everyone seems to have their own planning going on in their mind on how the ceremony should be.

Second, budget can go overboard due to last minutes add on/changes.

Third, me have no says on whatsoever related to the wedding! (In my case,mostly decided by the elderly/parents.I told them my general idea and what i don't like/like and they will continue from there.)

Fourth, repeat all of the above.Stress darab 20 kali!

Despite having to go through all those hiccups, I was (am) very thankful and so fortunate to have all the extra helps that I needed back then.Alhamdulillah...

As a start, documentation, meeting with marriage official & mosque arrangement being arranged by my parents solely.Tahu-tahu jumpa tok kadi untuk short briefing..

-Planning nak buat telur pindang as door gift,terus di add on dengan marshmallows in small jar (ni planning nenek)

-Konon nak berkhatam Al-Quran,tapi dengan speed aku bekerja,apatah lagi mengaji, lets forget about it!Replaced lak dengan Majlis Berinai Kecil..

-Decide wedding card pon I serah bulat-bulat kat both parents!My part, fill in the forms, and submit!

This is what we called "Lazy wedding planning"!Dah kata semua diaorg nak buat,I kata ok tak ok je..bersyukur sudah! Not a good place for B2B planning!!

Things that I regretted sangat dalam syukur2 ni, left HDPM and started new job a month prior to wedding. Due to that, new management tak allow AL or Marriage Leave within 3 months of working! Stress balik fikir aku nak spa bagai then nak rush to hometown utk wedding preparation!Big Boss pon in same condition malah no leave can be plot till probation ends in November! Maka, honeymoon ke honeystars ke segala jadah honey tunggu EOY!

I guess luahan hati i sampai sini saja..nak gambar tunggu post lagi satu!

New Status

Assalamualaikum & Hello..

Browsing through the net and finding myself stick to the monitor that explains the free-ness of me in the office.

Well, it's been 27 Days since I got married! Weee..alhamdulillah everything went well (for me) . Gonna have the countdown ticker on this blog too..cause both of us have it on our hp (well,i made him upload it on his 's ;p).

The wedding ceremony took 3 continuous weeks (Solemnization, Bride's side Reception - majlis sambut menantu & Groom's side Reception-majlis bertandang).Never ending tiredness just ended last week and new life back to normal.

Didn't get the full pictures of all the ceremony but here what I've grabbed from tagged pictures.

Moving On

The day have finally arrived where I've decided to end my 2years & 3months of employment with HDPM (Subsidiary company of HSBC).

It happened so quickly and I don't really feel like I actually did that.

I've been on job-hunting since June last year but it didn't turned out that great.

Even considering of having a month off this coming May IF no new opportunity came knocking on the door..

Little that I know,the resume I've been deposited earlier this year scored me an interview and Alhamdulillah, I'm a week old in new office.

Never know that I'll be crying again on my last day,reading through the wishes from team members were unbelievable

New office ...

Have to re-tune to fully Malay language and worst,paperwork!! I've to google up on how to write a memo!

Found out new route to office and cut off the crazy traffic jam at the LDP!!Weee!!
